El Duderino

Like, peace man.

Jules Verne

I've been working on this Jules Verne portrait for a little while now. I thought I'd take a little break and post some progress shots.
This is normally the way I work. I start with a big blob and gradually tighten up the details. Working digitally allows me to make changes more easily but this is basically the same technique I would use if I were working "traditionally".

This still has a ways to go and I'll post the final here when he's done.

"From This Well Madness Springs"

Thought I should post the finished Lovecraft piece.

Work in progress.

The Soul Glutton

The Glutton of Souls waits patiently for you. Willing you to make that one bad turn on the road of life that puts you within his grasp.

Pencil and digital

Another skull......... Still experimenting with a few oil techniques.

I like the results, but it's really time consuming and labor intensive.
