Jules Verne

I've been working on this Jules Verne portrait for a little while now. I thought I'd take a little break and post some progress shots.
This is normally the way I work. I start with a big blob and gradually tighten up the details. Working digitally allows me to make changes more easily but this is basically the same technique I would use if I were working "traditionally".

This still has a ways to go and I'll post the final here when he's done.
